Failing Maths · B in Physics A1 in both

I’d been here about a year and a half for E-Maths and Physics. I used to be failing Maths before joining, but with practice and support I was finally able to pass, then eventually get an A1. My Physics was good enough to pass but couldn’t get past a B. After taking Physics here this year I reached an A1. The teaching is clear and concise, which let me build a real foundation rather than memorise. Patient, helpful and approachable, with methods that target your weak points and build confidence through positive motivation.

Secondary 4/5 E-Maths & Physics
70+ (AL5) 90+ (AL1)

I was here three years for Maths. Before I joined, my grades were in the 70s (AL5). My Maths is now 90+ (AL1). The classes are patient, engaging and genuinely fun, and the explanations are very clear. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to actually improve their Maths grade rather than just sit through more lessons.

Difficulty passing exams A grades at O-Level

As parents, we were at the end of our rope — frustrated, options exhausted, almost giving up hope. After a few lessons we saw a real difference. The work, dedication and patience went in, and slowly but surely our child transformed: from struggling to pass exams to securing A grades at O-Level. We were confident enough that we sent our second child here as well.

Trigonometry a struggle A1 in both Maths

Got a strong raw score and an A1 for both my Maths papers. Couldn’t have done it without the guidance — Trigonometry in particular became a lot easier to understand once it was broken down properly. It meant a lot.

Secondary 4 E-Maths & A-Maths
Borderline Into Raffles Institution

I was here from Primary 5 for English, Maths and Science. A caring, responsible tutor who knows the syllabus well and brings concepts across clearly, plus genuinely useful study techniques. The lessons were fun and I learnt a lot. I’m very grateful for the help getting into the school of my choice — and my two sisters, also taught here, went on to Raffles Girls’ School and Raffles Junior College.

Primary 5–6 Maths, Science & English
Normal stream A1, top-3 Science in school

Took Physics and Chemistry here and scored A1 at O-Level, becoming one of the top three Science students from the Normal stream in school. Years later, former students still come back for advice on their education and careers — the mentoring doesn’t stop when the exams do.

Secondary (Normal stream) Physics & Chemistry
Science B4 · Maths D7 Science A1 · Maths A2

In only six to seven months, my Science went from a Mid-Year grade of 62 (B4) to an End-of-Year 82 (A1), and my Maths from 47 (D7) up to 72 (A2). The notes and worksheets are reliable and the lessons stay interesting. A kind, understanding teacher with a good rapport with every student.

Struggling with Maths Big improvement at O-Level

I’ve been here for tuition since Secondary 1. My Maths improved a lot — we’re always exposed to different question types so we can handle anything in tests and exams. The classes are small, so it’s easy to ask questions, and explanations are always pitched so students can actually follow. I benefited a lot.

Secondary 1 onward Maths & Science
Hoping to excel A1 (37/40), top of class

I started Maths tuition here fairly recently, hoping to do better in the subject. Within a short time I reached a high A1 (37/40) and was top of the class. Lessons are interesting and clear, with practice that actually moves the grade.
